World of Fancy Dress aims to maintain the highest standards in every aspect of merchandise and delivery; all items are tested and checked thoroughly before being dispatched. Should you need to return any item please refer to the following procedure.
Failure to adhere to this procedure will slow down your return.
Items may only be returned in their original state and packaging, unworn and unused and your original invoice will be required.
Please allow up to 10 working days for Returns to be processed and refunds credited. This may take longer if goods are returned without first obtaining a Returns number.
All returns
• To register your request to return item(s) you must email us at info@worldoffancydress.co.uk with subject heading 'Returns request' with the following information:
• Your Order number
• Item(s) description
• Item(s) reference number
• Detailed reason for return
• Item description and reference number of alternative required
• Any further information relevant to your returns request
• This must be initiated within 12 working hours from receipt of merchandise (working hours are from 9.00am until 5pm Monday to Friday).
• Once we have received this email we will asses you claim, if found valid, a returns number will be issued by email.
• Once you have received your personal return number you must print this out and, along with your original invoice, include these in with the merchandise you are returning.
• Please securely wrap items to be returned, insuring all required documents are enclosed.
• Returns must be sent by registered post.
Faulty goods
• In the unlikely event that any goods prove to be faulty, please follow the above procedure.
• All postage costs will be returned to you upon receipt of the goods and a replacement item will be sent.
• If a replacement is not appropriate, the full price paid will be refunded to you including all postage paid.
• Please note that all returns will be retested and all items found to contain no faults or showing signs of tampering will be returned to you at your own expense and no monies will be returned.
Other returns
• In the event of non-faulty returns, the cost of returning the original package to us must be borne by you.
• If a replacement is required, on the first return, postage and packaging will be paid by World of Fancy Dress.
• On any further returns, from the same order, all postage charges must be borne by the customer.
• Where there is no appropriate replacement, a refund maybe issued.
• No postage payments will be refunded for non-faulty items.
Unacceptable returns
All returns must be unused and unopened, unless faulty. Any clothing must be unworn and unwashed, still in its original condition and packaging.
Please be aware that issuing of a returns number is not acceptance of the return, and all goods will be reassessed upon receipt. |
